A PEER-To-PEER SPACE
This event is designed to be a safe, practical forum for compliance and risk professionals in financial services to share real-world challenges and solutions.
To maintain that openness, the audience won’t include regulators or authorities (e.g., JFSC, Government, FIU, JOIC).
On occasion, experts from these bodies may join as guest speakers when their perspective adds value to the discussion.
HOW DO I GET A TICKET?
To keep this event focused, there will only be 180 tickets available - and I want to make sure the financial services compliance community gets priority access.
Fill out the form below, and if you meet this criteria, you’ll receive an invite to buy your ticket in due course.
Compliance isn’t just about rules - it’s about protecting people.
Young people don’t fall into crime or extremism by accident. It happens when no one’s there to support them.
Prevention beats punishment.
To stop crime, we have to tackle its roots - by backing vulnerable young people before someone else does.
That’s why this event supports the Youth Enquiry Service (YES), funding free counselling and crisis support for 12–25 year olds in Jersey.
Because stopping crime means tackling the root causes, not just the outcomes.
So, what’s the plan then?
chatham house rule applies
The agenda will continue to be developed over the next few months as ideas come to mind and changes take place in the regulatory world, but here is the gist of what the day is likely to cover:
Why are we here?
An interactive discussion about the true purpose of the compliance function - and how we meaningfully demonstrate effectiveness.
Compliance in the wild
Fast-paced, practical sessions led by our compliance peers - real experiences, real lessons, real ideas.
Just when you thought you’d nailed it…
Short, sharp updates on the latest and upcoming regulatory changes and what you actually need to do about them.
Off the record
Throughout the day, we’ll tackle real-world compliance challenges submitted anonymously by you. No judgement, no fluff, just solutions.
GETTING people to do what you want (without p*ssing them off)
Headline act and live Q&A with Christian Hunt (regulator-turned-rebel) - see more below!
Headliner
Christian Hunt
Christian is a recovering regulator, risk and compliance officer with 30+ years of behavioural insight.
As the Founder of Human Risk, he helps organisations apply behavioural science and creativity to shift conduct, culture and change.
His keynote will be as enlightening as it is entertaining. Delivered with a blend of wit - he’ll turn the complexities of human risk into actionable insights.
He’ll talk about the science of rule breaking - why people really do the things they do. Because whenever things go wrong, there is always a human component.
Expect lightbulb moments, big laughs, and a completely fresh lens on your day job.
